I don’t think this is a story from the bible but since I never finished it, I can’t speak with authority. Who would read such a thing anyway? It’s so violent and the main character is pushy and judgmental. Blah-blah begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah, begets blah-blah,....and on and on. So? So what?

Some say its a harmless piece of fluff but look at the drivel it inspires. Weeping pool of sheep’s blood? Come on, what is that anyway. And comets and lions. Our strange author could do himself a favor and write a good adventure story. That, I would not mind being included in.

And yet, I am somewhat outraged that I have yet to be placed in the tale. Here I am walking along the road. Dry as eighteenth century parchment and no one has thought to let me meet David, or hell even be eaten by this lion.
